February 2012.
Elysian Fields will leave on another European tour this March, with dates in Switzerland, Portugal and their adopted homeland of France. To kick it off,
they'll be appearing at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City on February 24. Full tour schedule here.
Lots of stuff coming in the near future, including a single by Your Mouth And Eyes (Austin's Thane Matcek) and a video of that
single ("Farm The Moon") directed by Thane's brother Trevin, who has also directed fantastic videos for Lavender Diamond and The Postal Service.
There will be a new full-length by The White Papers this Spring, the first since the 2000 self-titled EP we released as OJET-008. This one is
called Bonfire On West Beach. Lots more info on that as we get it.
We have a few other things on the burner that we don't want to jinx. Email us here and we'll keep you abreast of updates.
Meanwhile, see "Red Riding Hood," the first video from the new Elysian Fields album Last Night On Earth, above.
During their recent trip to France, Elysian Fields made two live radio appearances
on France Inter: first on fou du roi, and then later that night
they did a Black Session.
EF were also on French television the week prior to all of that. Oren was getting down on the piano in a white hat and
Jennifer wore a raincoat. Chris Votolaro and Sarah Murcia accompany in a guitarless arrangement of "Church Of The Holy Family" from the new disc.
Can't miss it; see it here.

Elysian Fields
Last Night On Earth CD (OJET-015)
The veterans this time take off in new directions musically while at the same time releasing the
record in new directions geographically. Last Night On Earth is the first record released in the U.S. by Elysian Fields in over
10 years. The material on this one, a heady throwback to the classic rock records to which the duo grew up listening, is reason enough
to make it available in the States. 6-page digipak includes all of the lyrics, liner notes and full conceptual artwork, with a band photo by Peter Beste.

The new DC Shoes commerical for their Initials campaign features an instrumental version of "House of Atmospheres" by
Bull Thieves, and bonus clips of
Josh Kalis, Nick Dompierre, Matt Miller, Chris Cole and Evan Smith from each of their own Initials commercials.
Watch it here.
More ink on the
Bull Thieves here.
There will be a new record
from The White Papers this summer. The follow-up to the EP we released
in late 2000, this will be a full-length entitled Bonfire On West Beach. We'll also have a single from Dope E of The Terrorists as well as one from All Transistor/Sad Like Crazy stalwart Thane
Matcek and his new project Your Mouth and Eyes.
Our first release in the better
part of a decade is the full-length debut by NYC's Bull Thieves:

Available as a digital download here:
To purchase via iTunes click here
(iTunes version comes with a full-color digital booklet)
Bandcamp shoppers can purchase here (also includes digital booklet).
Amazon shoppers can find the album here (no booklet).
Bull Thieves are also on Last.FM, as are The White Papers.
Along with the above, we will continue with
the process of dusting off our releases from their places among our archives and making them available
in digital form. Full album and EP releases will include a full digital booklet with new layouts and more information
than was in the original releases. Currently only iTunes and Bandcamp
offer this, but we expect that to change, and we'll soon make the booklets available for download here.
So far we have released Port Vale's 1999 Western Winds EP and The White Papers self-titled
EP, but we're working on the rest. Check it out in the
store, and look for more releases appearing in the future. No guarantee the
entire catalog will be available, but the winds are blowing us in that general direction.
