THE WHITE PAPERS

Beginning as a collaboration between Lance Scott Walker (Bull Thieves, ex-Port Vale) and the DJ Jeffrey McLaughlin in the year 2000 in Houston, The White Papers has morphed over the years, continuing on with Walker now based in New York.

The White Papers EP was recorded by Scott Garred (Super XX Man, Silver Scooter) at Albert Hall in Austin, Texas in the Fall of 2000, with post-production in Houston by McLaughlin and Walker. It was mastered by John Golden.

The follow-up full length Bonfire On West Beach, will be released this year, almost 12 years after the release of the original EP. This one features Brandon Davis (Indian Jewelry, The Electric Set), Oren Bloedow (Elysian Fields, 101 Crustaceans), Jeanann Dara (Smoke & Flowers) and Task (Bull Thieves, BirdLikeBats), among others.

Music from The White Papers was used in the MMA travel journal "Tokyo Days" by E. Casey Leydon.
